This is a stunning get away retreat in a rustic setting yet with modern conveniences.
Enjoy seclusion and peace in the midst of a mature forest on seven acres of property.
Our log cabin is set 100 m. above Georgian Bay overlooking Christian Island and the full
sweep of the Bay beyond. The large cabin (3 bedrooms, sleeps 10) has been built from squared,
hand-hewn logs from pioneer days. A modern update has added a well equipped kitchen and two full bathrooms.
The western panoramic views from this unique setting are truly breathtaking – sunsets are to die for.
Our cottage is an adventurer’s paradise. The water is a 15 minute leisurely walk along a forest path
with the 100 m. bluff to negotiate. The shoreline is rugged but our beach is a private harbour of quiet
water and sand. Swimming is superb in the crystal waters and pure sand bottom of the Bay.
Car access to within 50 m. of the water is possible. Miles and miles of shoreline, forest
and field exploration – yet within 20 minutes of shopping and culture in Penetang and Midland.
All this is within an hour and a half of Toronto.
