(the neighbours phone can be used in an emergency)

Water:
- you can fill the water jugs
provided at the neighbours. (you could call it running water --
you have to run 2 minutes across the lawn to the neighbours for
fresh water)
Toilet:
- A brand spanking new outhouse
with 'biolet toilet'
Boat Rentals:
- there are a number of marinas
close by for boat rentals

Directions:
From Toronto, take highway 401
East past Kingston (approx. 3hr trip)
From Syracuse, take highway 401 West past Gananogue (approx. 3hr
trip)
- exit at Joyceville Side Rd.
South, there is a Husky station here with enormous Canadian
flag.
- it is the closest place to the
cabin for ice and the basics
- this road will take you
directly to the ferry, you will cross highway #2
- for trip into Kingston take
highway #2 west, for Gananoque take #2 east.
- once on the island you will go
up a small hill and turn left (east) onto North Shore Road
- continue along this road for
about 10-15 minutes
- we are on Byrne Point on a
private road
- you will come to what looks
like the end of the road with a row of mail boxes
- continue along the road to lot
number 1255
- there is a gravel parking pad
