A stone's throw to Baptiste Lake, 5:00 from Bancroft. This charming 4 bedroom cottage,
sleeps 6 adults + kids. (One queen, two doubles/ two singles). Spacious kitchen,
dining/living room. Large patio w BBQ. The cottage sits on a winding road
officially the scenic route for Baptiste and other lakes. We're on 2 acres of ultimate privacy.
The small village of Baptiste is a 1 min. drive, has a well stocked general store and restaurant
with a panoramic view of the lake. Markets in Bancroft, antique shops, cool coffee shops and a
new bakery/deli. Birch Cliff Lodge beach (boat/canoe rentals)is a walk away,
or drive 5:00 to a fantastic beach on Diamond Lake, great for kids. Elephant Lake,
Algonquin, Silent Lake for amazing canoeing/kayaking (rentals)and swimming.
Trips and Trails organizes half day or day canoe/kayak down the York River.
Riding stables, a wolf sanctuary and organic farms within discovery distance.
Cottage has a phone and a binder filled with information and maps.
