Pine Lake Camp is located on Pine Lake on the Wolfe River, three and a half miles from the landing on North Road, Loring Ontario. The waterway consists of the Wolfe River, Pine Lake and Swan Lake allowing access to approximately nine miles of lakes.

Under new management since 1996, the camp will see a bright new future. Originally built in the 1930's this camp is set amongst the tranquility of nature's best. Once a popular and busy camp, it has been idle for many years and will be refurbished as time allows.

There are 3 cabins available, all are renovated or new. All have full kitchen facilities including electric stove, fridge with freezer, microwaves, coffee makers, toasters all pots and dishes. Our Cabin 5 has 5 bedrooms with 18 beds. The Matthews Lodge is a 1200 sq ft. building with 3 bedrooms and 8 beds. It can sleep 12 plus. Cabin 6 has 2 bedrooms and can sleep 4-7 persons. All have either screened in porches or a sunroom.

And yes we do have electricity.

With FISHING being one of the favourite pastimes, our various waterways allow fishermen the sport of catching large and small mouth bass, walleye, pike, crappie as well as pan fish. Other lakes nearby can round out your fishing experience.

Boats and motors can be rented by the day or week. Complimentary use of canoe and paddle boat,

HUNTING is a major attraction in the famous Loring area. We offer organized deer hunts. Come in for the bow season. Bear and moose are also in the area although the camp has no tags.

The area is excellent during the fall season for small game, ducks and partridge.

Being just off the major SNOWMOBILE trails which run from North Bay to Parry Sound and Sudbury to Haliburton we can provide accommodation if booked in advance.

If you want to enjoy the winter season, CROSS COUNTRY SKIING or ICE FISHING we will accommodate you too.
