Owner's Comments The Stewart House is a beautifully restored 18th C house furnished with Nova Scotia art and antiques. It has been in the owner's family for 225 years and is surrounded by orchards and vineyards. The idyllic village of Grand Pre overlooks the Bay of Fundy and adjoins the recently renovated Grand Pre Historic Site. It is only one hour from Halifax and minutes from Wolfville, Acadia University, fine restaurants, shops and the Atlantic Theatre Festival. Grand Pre is a heritage conservation district due to its "rural beauty, historic significance and large number of heritage properties."
